Recorded at Psychic Readings performance space at AS220 in Providence, RI on a sony PCM-M10 audio recorder.

Sounds were collected from downcity Providence and improvised with live electronics by Norman W. Long. This live set was recorded at the end of his month long stay at AS220. This performance is a mix of field recordings from several walks through downcity, sounds from outside his apartment window, digital sound processing, analog/digital synthesis and experiments with found objects and contact microphones. This performance was inspired by Norman’s interest in acoustic ecology and industrial music. This noise action is a meditation on defiance, open paths, ecologies, thresholds, energy flows, subjectivity, singularity and darkness.
